Beulah Dean Blevins Sells 1938-2020

Beulah Blevins Sells, Johnson City, passed away on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 following a brief illness. She was the only child of the late CR and Eva Blevins. Beulah graduated from Science Hill High School and retired from Sprint in 2000. In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 49 years, Kenneth D. Sells.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Kelly Legler (Billy) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Kimberly McKinney (Kevin) of St Louis, MO, a step-granddaughter, Courtnie Nichols, Gainesville, Florida. She is also survived by first cousins, Cora Lee 'Tinkie' Miller, Mickey Grant and Wayne Grant, all of Johnson City, special friends, Barbara Hale, Lillian Edwards, and Shawn Judy and family.

Beulah was a member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church. She cherished and received much joy from the many special friendships she had both outside and within the church family.

A Graveside memorial Service will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park, 1900 Oakland Ave, Johnson City with the Rev. Larry DeVault officiating. This service will be held at a later date, to be determined by the family, due to the limitations from the COVID-19 virus.

Honorary pallbearers are Barbara Hale, Lillian Edwards, Betty Keever, the members of the 'Savvy Seven', Dr. Tony Haley and James Good.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jonesborough United Methodist Church or Carius Hospice, Johnson City.

A special thank you is extended to the nursing staff of NHC of Johnson City and the staff of Carius Hospice.
